About Altstadt Eindhoven
Besides just being a friendly, fun, hip and always happening bar, Altstadt Eindhoven has live music several times a week – often free of charge. We strive to get both new talent and acclaimed artists on our stage. Starting January 2017 Alstadt Eindhoven was chosen by the Performing Arts Fund NL (on behalf of the Dutch government) as a Kernpodium!
All sorts of cool bands grace our stage, from the region or far beyond. From indie to rock, on to psych and electropop… As long as it’s cool! One day you’ll see HAEVN playing live. Another time you’ll catch Sparky with his Demented Are Go, the founders of the genre Psychobilly. Even more “out of the box” is De Likt, who played just about every major Dutch festival in 2016 – or for something altogether different, The Slow Show, with their layered, epic indie sound.
