Zaterdag gaat Hit The City verder in de Altstadt. Vier opkomende acts nemen het podium over, en daarna sluit ons eigen Club Alt de nacht af. Gratis entree, geen ticket nodig.

Over de acts
Bandit bracht eerder de EP’s Here’s To Being Alive en The Good Times Are Killing Me uit en levert postpunk op eigen voorwaarden. Ellur schrijft indie-gitaarsongs over opgroeien en acceptatie, met het hart van een geboren verhalenverteller. Ditter klinkt organisch en direct, met nummers die lijf en hoofd tegelijk raken. Automatic uit Los Angeles serveert strakke popmelodieën met donkere humor en scherp commentaar.
Na de livesets neemt Club Alt het over. Bob en Sharon draaien het beste alternatief, van zware baslijnen tot catchy pophooks, net wat harder dan je gewend bent. Dansen tot je schor bent.

From Liverpool, UK, Alt/Post-Punk four-piece Bandit the band emerged with EPs ‘Here’s To Being Alive’ and ‘The Good Times Are Killing Me’. In 2025 they return with the ‘Scandalous’ EP, led by single ‘Masquerade’, expanding their indie/alternative roots into a darker, shoegaze-tinged post-punk sound driven by guitar noise and introspective lyrics. They’ve earned support from BBC Radio 1, Radio X, BBC Introducing, Dork and DIY, and built a strong live reputation touring with The Reytons, IST IST and Deadletter, plus UK festival and headline appearances.

Yorkshire artist Ellur brings soaring indie guitar songs about growing up and acceptance to Hit The City. The Halifax songwriter is a natural storyteller, with every word counting, inviting listeners deeper into her world. Her new EP, produced by Joel Johnston (FAR CASPIAN), features singles ‘God Help Me Now’ and ‘Yellow Light’ (BBC Radio 1 Track of the Week), blending influences like Sharon Van Etten, Sam Fender and Dora Jar. After SXSW, Reading & Leeds and shows with Robbie Williams and Blossoms, plus praise from NME, DIY, Dork and BBC Radio 1 & 6 Music, Ellur is unmissable live.

Behind the name Ditter stands a trio, but above all a sound that hits both body and heart. Their music is vibrant and organic. Full of anthemic songs you can’t help but sing along to, smiling and moving with the groove. For them, music is expression, connection, and finally togetherness.
