Altstadt verandert in het podium voor Everybody Can Stand Up (ECSU) – de bruisende internationale comedy-community van Eindhoven.
Bereid je voor op een avond vol humor, eerlijke verhalen en onverwachte wendingen. Van nieuwe talenten tot ervaren comedians, iedereen krijgt 8 minuten op de mic – met als hoogtepunten headliners Mohna Joshi (India) and Vitaliy Krasovskyy (Ukraine), twee headliners met scherpe grappen en een ijzersterke podiumpresence.
Maar de avond is nog lang niet voorbij
Na de comedy neemt de Altstadt DJ het over met de beste alternatieve rock en indie tot 02:00. Geniet ook van diverse kortingen want het is immers Fontys Purple week!
Kom lachen, blijf hangen, en dans tot laat. Everybody Can Stand Up is elke 2e en 4e woensdag van de maand in de Altstadt.

MC Mario (ITA)
Mario Coppola is Italian, but also not (long story). He has been left culturally confused for too long with no option but to find humor in life’s awkward truths —whether it’s the weirdness of different cultures, the reality of getting older, or the unexpected chaos of becoming a parent.
Anam (IND)
Anam began her comedy journey this year and loves travelling around the Netherlands to perform and try new show formats. Silly, smart and a dry style of delivery that juxtaposes with her cheerful energy.
Anjuli (DEU)
Anjuli is a German, Dominican Comedian. Born in Frankfurt and currently studying in Tilburg. Passive-aggressive,playful storytelling with a bit of dark humour.
Emil (SWE)
Swedish comedian Emil Jersling made his stand-up debut in China in 2022 – after just 26 years of warming up abroad. Now finally back in Europe, he’s short, hungry, and extremely diabetic. In his spare time, he likes to think.
Samuel (IND)
Samuel George Netto is an up coming local comic who grew up in The Maldives. When he isn’t on stage making ethnic jokes, he is out in the wild meeting other internationals and learning about other ethnicities. He is also a Fontys alumini!
Mohna (IND)
Mohna is a bold, sassy voice in the English-language comedy scene. A woman of a certain age with a wicked sense of humour, she draws her material from her dating adventures and the unpredictable challenges of expat life—with charm, warmth, and zero filters. She has performed across NL, in major European cities and internationally.
